I love that anyone can make any video and put their spin on it. This made me smile today.

I love music because it takes me away from reality. Concerts are my escape route.
And since today's pop culture generation is into the whole dance thing.. naturally I'm falling victim to it. I have the sudden urge to go outside and dance my heart out! Yeah yeah yeah!
My only qualms about enjoying this song is Chris Brown's history.. while I tend to be positive and think people can be forgiven, I have mixed feelings, not sure whether it's OK to like his music again or not. I also think it's an obvious PR move to incorporate children in the video to soften his image. But the song itself is so darn catchy.

This trailer got my blood pumping today.. I needed it.
Hooked and it's not phonics. And it's to the point where I can't get it out of my head.
One of the co-founders hit us up Bobby Flay style and took us up on a challenge by creating a masterpiece that WASN'T on his menu on the fly... thought I'd share because I respect owners who take their customers to heart and take the time to get feedback from them to improve what they offer.
If you're ever in Orange County, down in So Cal, in a cute quaint little area in Old Towne Orange there's a little place called Bruxie. It was actually my first time ever in this area, how did I not even know this place existed? From the outside it looks like just any other little fast food place, there's a walk-up window and you sit outside. But they've innovated the waffle into a waffle sandwich and offer a variety of kinds from savory to dessert goodness.. but the reason why I like it, is mostly because the waffle itself is pretty good - fluffy+crispy at the same time. Sorry the footage is janky, I just whipped out my smartphone and it was dark because it was night. And no, I'm not in the video at all.. except for my one "mmmm" comment haha.
My best-niece is turning 3-years old today! She's my shining light. When she was about 1-year old she'd just sit there and stare at me as I'd converse with her. I believe in enriching a kid's mind from the get-go. I'd tell her to say, cat, or dog, or sun, like these easy 1 syllable words, and then I'd just randomly throw in something like molecular biology and she'd bust up in a giggle.
That was then. Now that she's three, she's doing all the teaching. She tells me where things are, how things work, how to do certain things, and she even psycho-analyzes me from time to time, haha. I don't think when I was three I was able to distinguish the difference between iPhone and Droid and play with an iPad regularly either. :) My, my, times have changed.
My dad often asks me.. why do you kids take so many pictures of food? I have no idea. Is it because we all believe we are foodies? I think it's mostly because food makes me happy. To satiate hunger, is one of the best feelings in the world. And if you're fortunate to do it with good company, then you've got it made. Here's some of the things I've eaten so far in 2011 with my loved ones..
Been searching for some new music lately. Kind of tired of the same ole same ole on the radio.
What do you guys think of this one?
