Some people go through their entire life without catching a single ball at a baseball game. This guy manages to get 2 during the same game.
Could this be my favorite venue in Los Angeles? It ranks high on my list. Acoustics like this sound GORGEOUS amidst the silent breeze.
I had the pleasure of watching this film at the Los Angeles Pacific Film Festival - and found it highly entertaining. Donnie Yen is amazing and Takeshi Kaneshiro's whimsical charm never fails.
Have I mentioned how much I respect Ryan Gosling for being a versatile actor? It's nice to see him in a variety of roles. Coming October 2012

That's how I like it.
Fiona Apple is back. Music is always dependent on my mood. I'm in the mood right now for something a little calmer and intricate.
I just recently returned from a bachelerotte party trip.. and I make the most of every experience. I had a nice time away from home. I hope the bride-to-be also enjoyed herself. In these group settings I always find it difficult to spend truly close-knit time together with one another.. for what it is, which is bonding with a big group of girls, it was a success. I hope to get smaller quality time though with my friend's fiancee, because those are the best moments I appreciate even more with good people.
I think some people assumptively think I'm a rookie partier, however, I've been around for a while..it's more like, I've been there done that already. I've had my share of tipsy days, I've had my share of good times spent.. it's just that now at my age, I don't feel the need to have to go all out and get buck-wild-crazy. It makes me sound like a conservative or old person, and everyone will have their own perspective. I still find ways to enjoy my time, I LOVE music, and I will sing and dance to my hearts content and that moment on the dancefloor, I love being engulfed by the crowds, the beat of the music, the lights that flash along to the beat, and the DJ who starts to karate chop in the air as he spins. I can easily forget that we are packed so tight someone's armpit is in my face. I get easily bored just standing around..it's simple..I either seize the moment, or leave. I don't really concern myself with others and what they choose to do. Everyone is different. Fun is relative. Some people absolutely require drinks to have fun, and there are those of us who have fun regardless. I like to think I'm the latter. Fun to me isn't about boasting how many drinks you threw back.. as much as society makes that the norm.. Fun to me is about internally how much fun YOU have, and how good YOU feel. :) I had fun.
