I gave all my winnings to my parents except for a couple bucks to pay for my haircut. On the drive home, my dad was quieter than usual (Which is really quiet). I dont think he had much luck this trip. I tried to give him my winnings but he refused. But later on I snuck it over to my mom and told her they should save it for their trip to japan. :)

My parents are going to japan soon, lucky them huh? My golf-a-holic parents are planning on travelling the globe hitting up golf courses. I am so glad because they deserve time off to enjoy life. They've had to work 7-days a week for 30+ years of their lives already, never had free moments to spare. The whole "work hard now, to play hard later" mentality really worked out for them.

I think my generation is a little different. We try to juggle work and play at the same time rather than wait. Anyway, I respect my parents a lot and I know giving them my winnings is not like going to break their bank but I think they understand what I'm getting at. I dont know how I'll ever compensate them for the many years and effort they put into raising me. Material cash is nothing compared to the love and respect I have for them. :) Besides, it was a lot of fun just spending some time together and temorary bragging-rights. That's enough to make me happy. ;)

You know why I love paigow? Because after I am up $300 I stack up my last pile high and it's sudden death now, hombre a hombre, me vs. "john". John had every intention of being kind to me, he dealt me straights and A's all night. But in the fight to the finish, there was sweat, there were tears, there were oohs and aahs, and I got pwned by a pair of weak ass pairs. Going home in defeat. But next time, next time redemption will be mine. At least slots were kind to me. Thank you to my parents for a fun-filled weekend in vegas!

1000 credits on a quarter machine looks more impressive than it really is. Wish it was in dollars. But hey! Being up is better than being ripped a new .. Oh I say that term a lot. I'll refrain from unnecessary vulgarity. Haha. But it's better than losing! How you like that, Wynn?

This room has 4 tv's, 2 bathrooms, walk in closet bigger than my own closet, and the shower has 3 different shower heads. It is ridiculous. But free is free! The kid checking me in said I'd like to get the manager to upgrade you for free. And I couldn't argue with him. He was insistent. Haha. Would you deny a suite with a 7-seated bar, dining set and monster bathrooms? Didn't think so. I asked him if they have $1 slots and he said I'm not even 21 yet I don't know. Nevermind. I'll take the suite, thanks! I just happen to luck out and get hooked up when I come to sin city. Dad asked me what I asked to get the upgrade. Nada. :) just smile, be friendly, and let them offer. My mom wants to take like ten showers before we leave this place. The three showerhead water experience is fun it's like a mini waterpark!

No, I'm not referring to the movie. 23, in the basketball world, has become synonymous with the god of basketball himself, Michael Jordan.

23 was also the inspiration to my senior class art project as depicted here.

Though my highscool days have long been gone, I keep it proudly displayed in my room still, because it was one of my favorite projects to work on. My medium? Construction paper. Yup, the whole thing. Just a lot of cutting and elmer glueing. I purposely didn't fill in his face, except for his signature tongue. I thought that was icing on the cake.

I'm slowly getting back into it. I've busted out a blank canvas, and charcoal pencils, but I guess I'm lacking the inspiration. What inspires you?

I do laundry like twice a week. And I still feel like there are always so many loads to do! I don't mind carrying the basket so much. I don't really mind sorting it, washing it, or drying it. Even folding isn't that bad. For me, the part I always dread is finding their appropriate place to put them away.

Over the years, I find it harder and harder to find it in my heart to throw old things out. This becomes somewhat of a problem. I start running out of room. I currently have filled up two closets and one dresser.

The worst part is, more stuff means more laundry. Maybe that's why my parents stock up on Tide to last us for the next decade. That and we thrive off of costco. It's all about bulk baby.

My heart skips a beat to:
That really good song that you can put on repeat without getting tired of it, the perfect swish from nothing but net, bright colors that scream attention which I don't like to bask in, cars that remind me of cartoons, the right sneakers for every occasion, the honest "I've-missed-you" look my dog gives me when I come home, a quick run in the dark imagining someone is chasing me, anything kawaiiiiii, frozen desserts of many fulfilling kinds, heroes or arch-nemeses, life ambitions and carpe diem actions, exercising brain power, exploring So Cal, and eating food that is yummy-yummy, in my tummy. Did I mention I'm a web-junkie? Long live internet!
