Brandon Roy is the talk of the town after a career high 52 points while dueling in last night's game against Phoenix.  This video makes it seem like they won a championship(?!) but nonetheless it was a highly entertaining game.   Gotta love NBA on TNT.

Brandon also asks you to give back this holiday season -  help make a child's wish come true.  Donate to the Make A Wish Oregon chapter: http://www.orwish.org/

This 5-year old girl can *insert basketball cheer here*  "dribble, shoot, shoot, and take that ball to the hoop, hoop"!

I like how she picks her favorite college.  Who knows, 20 years from now she may be a WNBA superstar?

Favorite play tonight. Stop, pivot, turn around fadeaway jumper over two defenders. If you watch the replay (wish I had video to share), the rest of the floor stops for those split few seconds. They all stand there just staring at what Trev's about to pull off. My man. Making contributions where it counts. Lakers with another win destroy the Nets tonight.

Player of the game: Trevor Ariza, slasher, ghost, shadow, mr. energy deserves more press time!  Watch out now!  He's Arizin'!  I should really TM that.  =)

I think tonight's game is going to be a little tough, since Lakers are traveling and playing back to back.  Man, I still get more excited when the second unit comes out to play, yeah probably because I'm biased to root on Trev.  Go Lakers!

This is a find from @alphainspire. I had to re-post because this totally beats the Bron commercial by a landslide.

    Do - entertain me.
    Don't - bore me.
It's not much of a science.

They could have shortened this commercial to the part where he puts the shoes on her.  Because everything prior to that is completely lame.  And I'm normally a Nike enthusiast.  Shoot, I also respect Lebron.  And I've shared a special moment with Nicole myself.  I can technically say she celebrated my birthday with me.  She happened to be at Luna Park on my birthday and watched from a table nearby as my sparkler-cake came my way (you almost had to wear goggles to avoid the sparks-a-flying from the candles).  Although in my vivid imagination, I pictured her climbing on top of my table and serenading me and my guests with a birthday song, ha.

Anyway, I still feel like I wasted 3 minutes of my precious brainpower absorbing this commercial, yet what would possess me to share it with you?

As much as I've been enjoying these first couple of Laker games as clear indication that the Lakers are back and stronger than ever as a cohesive (almost unfair?  nah!  nothing unfair about talent and hard work) team-

I enjoy watching the other games just as much - The Suns/Spurs game last night was highly entertaining.  I like watching these two teams duke it out.
    This was pretty funny:

Other highlights from around the NBA last night:

I'm so excited!  I am going to have to change up my sleep routine so I can get home in time for more games.

My heart skips a beat to:
That really good song that you can put on repeat without getting tired of it, the perfect swish from nothing but net, bright colors that scream attention which I don't like to bask in, cars that remind me of cartoons, the right sneakers for every occasion, the honest "I've-missed-you" look my dog gives me when I come home, a quick run in the dark imagining someone is chasing me, anything kawaiiiiii, frozen desserts of many fulfilling kinds, heroes or arch-nemeses, life ambitions and carpe diem actions, exercising brain power, exploring So Cal, and eating food that is yummy-yummy, in my tummy. Did I mention I'm a web-junkie? Long live internet!
