Brutal Winds and California Fires
California gets a gust of Santa Ana winds every October. In fact, I can't recall a windless October in my entire lifetime. Today, a fire started in the San Fernando Valley and burned more than 10,000 acres under such unfavorable windy conditions. My heart goes out to all the families who have been forced to evacuate and have lost anything in its path.
