I gave all my winnings to my parents except for a couple bucks to pay for my haircut. On the drive home, my dad was quieter than usual (Which is really quiet). I dont think he had much luck this trip. I tried to give him my winnings but he refused. But later on I snuck it over to my mom and told her they should save it for their trip to japan. :)

My parents are going to japan soon, lucky them huh? My golf-a-holic parents are planning on travelling the globe hitting up golf courses. I am so glad because they deserve time off to enjoy life. They've had to work 7-days a week for 30+ years of their lives already, never had free moments to spare. The whole "work hard now, to play hard later" mentality really worked out for them.

I think my generation is a little different. We try to juggle work and play at the same time rather than wait. Anyway, I respect my parents a lot and I know giving them my winnings is not like going to break their bank but I think they understand what I'm getting at. I dont know how I'll ever compensate them for the many years and effort they put into raising me. Material cash is nothing compared to the love and respect I have for them. :) Besides, it was a lot of fun just spending some time together and temorary bragging-rights. That's enough to make me happy. ;)
