My heart skips a beat to: That really good song that you can put on repeat without getting tired of it, the perfect swish from nothing but net, bright colors that scream attention which I don't like to bask in, cars that remind me of cartoons, Nippon culture, the right sneakers for every occasion, the honest "I've-missed-you" look my dog gives me when I come home, a quick run in the dark imagining someone is chasing me, frozen desserts of many fulfilling kinds, heroes or arch-nemeses, life ambitions and carpe diem actions, exercising brain power, exploring So Cal, and eating food that is yummy-yummy, in my tummy. Did I mention I'm a web-junkie? Long live internet!
Adam Young from Owl City hits the lyrics and the notes right where it counts. I can play this song over and over.. and this video is so fitting. I had one of these old school Speak & Spells! It brings back memories. I used to love that thing - my dad bought me one when I was in kindergarten. Ever since, I've been in love with words. Just as I am in love with Owl City's songs and lyrics
Sweden has more awesome things other than Ikea and Vikings.
Like this band! The Sounds!
Maja Ivarsson rocks the vocals, and the accompanying band works up quite a sweat live, they know how to pump up a show. Recently, they've been the opening act for the No Doubt Tour. Kudos to bands who still know how to give it to you on stage.
Lily Allen's latest album, "It's Not Me, It's You" is probably one of her best works! I absolutely </3 her music - check out the latest video for "F*ck you" It's got the most upbeat melody, to something with such strong uh, hatred? Maybe you can read deeper into her lyrics against narrow-mindedness.. for me it's pretty much the tune that sold me, hook, line, and sinker.

I've got mixed feelings about this one. I'm not like the biggest Eminem fan in the world, but I can't deny I have his older albums in my iPod collection. What do you guys think of his new track feat. Dre & 50?
"Every verse, every line, as simple as nursery rhymes Its elementary. The elephants have entered the room.
I venture to say with the same repetition is true Not to mention back with a vengeance and hit the signal Of the bat symbol. The platinum dude is back on you hoes."
Hmm... I dunno, I'd have to say I'm not feeling the lyrics but I have a feeling this could fly mainstream.

Here's a song I'm digging on right now though it's not new, Lupe grows on me more everyday. I was once told he is a 'lyrical genius' by a diehard fan.

And because I grew up on R&B, here's my props to Jamie Foxx for his new song "Just Like Me" It reminds me of Tyrese (kind of, sort of, not really) with a little bit of RKelly/Ray-J rhythm.
ATTN: Kanye, Ludacris, and Linkin Park fans- Pick up their new albums/purchase on iTunes, just dropped today.
And finally, no they don't have a new CD (yet), but news on the wire, No Doubt is starting up their 2009 tour, which is great because if you haven't seen No Doubt or Gwen in concert, you're missing out, she kicks ass on stage. So do Ye and LP.
