When you get an email in your inbox from an esteemed celebrity like T.I., of course your curiosity peeks to see what it is.  I am not even sure why this landed in my inbox.  I know it wasn't something I made a point to seek out.  I'm sure I'm signed up for some hip hop subscriber list, and their campaign trickled down through millions of emails from the black book of hip hop emails, straight down to me.

And since he asked, (sometimes that's all it takes), I am helping spread the word.  Not only because T.I. told me (amongst 1000s of others) to do so, but because I feel this year's election is going to be a close one and it is your right to vote for who you agree with most.  Obviously no candidate is perfect and you won't find one candidate who you can say thinks and supports exactly all of the same policies and views you do.  But if you don't vote, you have no say at all, and you can't even complain about it.  For those of us on the fence (I'm sure there are many of us out there), we've got a little over 1 week to make that final call.  I've entertained the write-in vote before, course that always makes you wonder if you're only foiling the end-result by taking away from the tally between the front-runners.

Nevermind that T.I.'s right to vote has been taken away because he is convicted.  And that he is charged with attempting to buy uh, pretty serious weapons.  Despite it all, his album is like #1 on the charts right now.  Maybe this is all a marketing ploy as well.  You know me and my conspiracy theories.  What's a little felony, when you can climb the charts and encourage more votes?   You certainly can't deny talent - his songs get pretty addicting to listen to. Anyway don't vote because T.I. wants you to to do it, vote because YOU want to do it.  Don't deny yourself of your rights.
